Marshall Electronics MD Series | MarshallElectronics proudly presents the MD series of rackmount monitors that offer a flexible modular solution to systemintegration. These new rack-mountable monitors can be configured with avariety of video inputs that can be "swapped" or interchanged in thefield based on your evolving needs and requirements. This eliminatesthe need to upgrade or replace equipment when a different input orapplication is required. This "future proof" solution providesflexibility and reassurance when necessary, especially in multi-monitorrack mount units.
These fully-featured monitors come in a variety of sizes andconfigurations. The new V-MD434 and V-MD503 monitors feature a new slimdesign with advanced front panel menu and feature control.
All models include Status Display, False Color Filter, Markers, FreezeFunction, Color Temperature Presets, RGB Gain / Bias Adjust,Pixel-to-Pixel, Blue Gun, Hard Tally, and more. A variety of moduleswill become available including the availability of 3G/HD/SDI withloop-through, Fiber-Optic input/output modules, and more.
These new monitors are the WORLD'S FIRST HD MONITORS WITH DIRECT FIBEROPTIC VIDEO INPUTS. Marshall's new MD monitors integrate Telecast FiberSystem's TeleCubeTM Fiber-Optic HD/SDI transmissioninput/output modules. These new fiber modules deliver the industry'sbroadest range of digital rates while maintaining pristine signalquality that broadcasters and integrators demand.
With broadcast production facilities looking to the future with 3Gb/sSDI integration, Marshall fills the void with new fully-featured,high-end monitors with full 3G / HD / SD support. For distances beyond150 meters, fiber-optic signalling may be required. To fulfil thisneed, Marshall looked to Telecast Fiber Systems, the company thatdeveloped fiber-optic video technology for television broadcastproduction. Telecast's comprehensive systems are used worldwide.
These new monitors received TV Technology's STAR (SuperiorTechnology Award Recipient) at IBC 2009 in Amsterdam. These awards aredesigned to celebrate and showcase the preeminent technologicalinnovations available to the media industry.
